Brutalist

R19,990.00

One of my favourites – a sculpture of concrete, metal and steel – sold with the stand.

Brutalist style is all about raw power and unapologetic honesty in design. Emerging in the 1950s, especially in post-war Britain, it was a reaction against the decorative flourishes of earlier architecture. The term comes from the French béton brut, meaning “raw concrete,” which is the signature material of the style.
