I’m Liezel C Loots, a self-taught artist born in the Free State in 1979.  Embracing individuality and celebrating diverse tastes have always been at the core of my work.

Driven by a love for creativity and a pursuit of new challenges, I find inspiration in capturing faces and figures.

My artistic style is ever-evolving, reflecting the essence of who I am. With no formal training, I have the freedom to develop my own unique style, as art should be free.  For me, art is an emotional expression.  I strive to deeply resonate with viewers, capturing and evoking emotions through my art.

In 2021, I began my artistic journey with sculptures and later moved to Bloemfontein, where I discovered new opportunities and art forms. Art has become my purpose beyond being a mother and wife.

Words may not be my strong suit, but my art speaks volumes. Through my hands, I express what words cannot articulate.
