I have two loves: art and indigenous flora.

I have helped numerous homeowners to revive and restyle their exotic gardens to an ecologically friendlier indigenous landscape.

I specialise in endemic transformations and I am able to source plants not found at your local nursery.

I will be keeping this page up to date by posting some of my latest finds here.

Adenium multiflorum: Impala lily, Sabie star

I have recently acquired these fifteen year old seed grown impala lilies. These exceptional succulent shrubs or small trees resemble miniature baobas. They require full sun, well drained soil and will add an element of sophistication to any garden or home décor.

The trees are about one meter tall (pot included) and sell @ R2 500,00 each.

(Pot measures 600 mm x 400 mm)

Brother to the impala lily is the adenium swazicum (swazi lily or the summer impala) – this plant is critically endangered in its natural habitat.  These are seed grown and about three years old.  R300,00 each with a cement vase.

Total height: 630 mm with a pot diameter of 220 mm

Left: Six small swazi lilies in a ceramic pot – full sun, little water, flowers in winter @ R750,00

Right: One swazicum and one muliflorum @ R750,00

Two three year old (seed grown) aloe peglerae’s in cement pots @ R200,00 each.  Endemic to the Magalies mountains, this species has almost been poached to extinction.  Efforts are underway to re-establish colonies on the mountain.
